He is also Emeritus Lightfoot Professor of Divinity at the [[University of Durham]]. Dunn has an M.A. and B.D. from the University of Glasgow and a Ph.D. and D.D. from the University of Cambridge. Dunn is associated with the [[New Perspective on Paul]]<ref>Along with [[N.T. Wright]] and [[E.P. Sanders]], among others</ref> - having coined the the term in 1983 - and specializes in early Christianity.
