Theopedia:Bible translations
From Theopedia
Theopedia lists several Bible translations in its verse pages (e.g. John 1:1). There are many Bible translation sites on the Internet, so our goal is not to have an exhaustive list of all translations.[1] Instead, we aim to provide two or three of the most useful translations for study.
It is likely that no one will ever have the original manuscripts of the Biblical writers, so we will always be debating on the best interpretation of those originals. Is an old translation more reliable because it has stood the test of time, or are new translations better because they are based on more updated scholarship? Since Theopedia is still in early development, please join this article's talk page and help us determine the best interpretations for this site. See the Theopedia:Scripture/progress page to see how things are going so far.

- ↑ See particularly BibleGateway.com for many ways to search and organize different translations of the Bible. StudyLight.org is a similar site with additional resources and translations.
