Two things to note: I would not call S.K. "neo-orthodox" (although I wish I could!) It is difficult to pinpoint S.K. in terms of orthodoxy as he so often rails against any sort of systematizing. This is not to say that a system is necessary to be orthodox, but that his railing verges on calling orthodoxy wholly unimportant in relative to a concern for physical discipleship.
I also would add Hegel as one of his influences. Though he fought tooth and nail against Hegelianism as a main objective, doesn't that make Hegel an influence, though a negative one, of his thought and work? — unsigned comment by chrismon (talk • contribs)
- I think those are some good ideas. I don't know enough about him (I'm hoping to learn more this next semester), so I'll gladly take your word on these things as well. Feel free to add some of this stuff into the article. Thanks. JordanBarrett (talk) 23:50, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
