Talk:Rob Bell
From Theopedia
Hey - just a heads up - when I'm editing this, please wait to make minor fixes. I was in the process of fixing multiple things and lost them cuz someone else edited it. JordanBarrett (talk) 18:21, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hey sorry about that... I just happened to have that photo handy because I've got a whole set of nooma dvds that I'm getting ready to ebay. (gift from unsuspecting person...) I'll stay out of your way for a while! HokieRNB 18:31, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Ultimate reality
I don't see any problem with the "ultimate reality" quote? -Aaronshaf 20:08, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- The section doesn't say "we have problems with these quotes" - it simply quotes him. ;) JordanBarrett (talk) 01:30, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Removed section
I removed the following under the section "reputation":
- Although Bell claims that he is not Emergent, his church's services and preaching are in line with the Emerging church movement. Bell has created quite a stir in Evangelical circles and is labeled by some as a postmodern preacher.
- Bell demonstrates an extensive understanding and appreciation of different cultures. More specifically, he has an ability to communicate insights about ancient Jewish, Greek and Roman cultures to those living in today's Western culture. This allows him to bring greater clarity to various aspects of the Bible. Critics claim Bell's theology is heterodox, neo-liberal, and embracing relativism.
I think before we say these kinds of things we should provide citations. -Aaron Shafovaloff 00:16, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
"An old person's criticism of doctrinal method"?
That was a silly header! - Aaron Shafovaloff 20:04, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
A heads up
Per the Google Analytics traffic stats, this has been the most popular article on Theopedia for quite awhile. - Aaron Shafovaloff 12:19, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- I made a few edits to hopefully improve the article since it is popular. Thanks for the info Aaron. Jim Ellis 17:40, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
