Separate articles

Any opinions on giving the creeds their own article and the confessions another? Jordan Barrett (talk) 21:54, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

The creeds were constructed by the church before there was ever a major split whereas the confessions were drawn up, generally speaking, after the Protestant Reformation by various traditions. Jordan Barrett (talk) 05:37, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

It's seems like creeds are much more polemic in nature, confessions are longer and much more detailed...my vote is yes for a split...DoxaKardia

One option would be to first separate them in this one article. We could have a section on Creeds and another section on Confessions, and develop respective introductions for each. Separate articles could follow later if we still see the need. Just my $0.02. Jim Ellis 12:46, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
